Tempur-Pedic Becomes PGA Tour Sponsor

LEXINGTON, Ky.-The Tempur-Pedic division of Tempur Sealy has signed on as a sponsor of the PGA Tour in an agreement that will run through 2016.

Under the terms of this agreement, Tempur-Pedic will receive designations as the PGA’s official mattress, bedding and pillow sponsor. A Tempur Sealy statement said this is the first national sports sponsorship for the company, one which grew from an initial advertising relationship with pgatour.com in 2013.

“Golf is a game of precision played by discerning people who appreciate quality,” said Patrice Varni, senior vice president of Tempur Sealy’s brand marketing. “The Tempur-Pedic customer shares these same qualities, and this overlap really drove this partnership.”
